Steve McGee serves as the director of Bridge of Hope in Gaston and serves as the pastor of Hillcrest Church. Steve earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Bible and Theology with a minor in New Testament Greek in 1992 at Columbia Bible College (now Columbia International University or CIU).
In May 2024, he earned a Master of Arts degree in counseling from CIU (a CACREP program in clinical mental health counseling). He became licensed in the state of South Carolina as a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A) in July, 2024.
After earning his BA, Steve pastored churches in South Carolina, South Florida, and Michigan. He also served as a church planter and Bible teacher in Trinidad, West Indies. In 2009, he and his family moved to Miami, Florida, where he served as the Executive Director of Ministries in Action (MIA). He continued to minister in the Caribbean and Latin America through Biblical education, disaster relief teams, and medical missions. In 2013 and he accepted a call from Hillcrest Church to become their lead pastor.
Continuing and expanding on his missional vision, Steve saw the need for counseling centers in rural South Carolina. So, he enrolled in the master's program in clinical counseling in 2021, taking his first step toward opening a counseling center as a way to serve needs in the community.
Steve offers a holistic counseling approach, counseling under the supervision of Paul Bishop, MA, LPC, LPC/S - Director of Bridge of Hope Counseling Center (BOH) in Lexington. While he has a heart for people with addictions, he is equipped to address many issues. His areas of focus include, but are not limited to: addictions, depression, anxiety, marriage, grief & loss, and Spiritual Counseling.

Linnette earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, graduating summa cum laude from Columbia International University. (CIU) in May, 2021. She went on to earn a Master of Arts degree in counseling from CIU (a CACREP program in clinical mental health counseling) in May, 2024. She became licensed in the state of South Carolina as a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A) in June, 2024. Linnette also studied theology and communications during her university career.
Linnette offers a wholistic counseling approach, counseling under the supervision of Paul Bishop, MA, LPC, LPC/S - Director of Bridge of Hope Counseling Center (BOH) in Lexington. While she has a heart for women who have experienced relationship trauma, she is equipped to address many issues. Her areas of focus include, but are not limited to: Women Specific Counseling, Depression & Anxiety, Relationship Difficulties & Trauma, Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Self-Image & Attachment Issue, Grief & Loss (Death, Health, Relationships, etc.), as well as Spirituality & Biblical Counseling. Linnette also serves as the assistant director of the BOH satellite office in Gaston, SC.

Craig L. Boxwill Sr. is a native New Yorker from Brooklyn, by way of New Jersey, and now proud to call Columbia, South Carolina his home. Craig has finished his Masters of Arts degree in Care & Counseling (MAPC) at Columbia International University. He loves his wife Kim and his family. He will love yours too as your counselor.
Craig is an Army veteran and a civil service retiree from the Veterans Administration in New Jersey. Craig’s goal is to continue education expanding his counseling practice to service couples and those with addictions. Craig received his BA in Christian Family Counseling at Liberty University (Lynchburg, VA), and he and his wife are presently lay counselors and Recovery Ministry leaders at COLA Church in West Columbia. Craig’s hobbies are bowling, outdoors, family and the word of God - equipping him for God's service.

She became licensed in the state of South Carolina as a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A) in August, 2024.
Julianna is passionate about working with children and their families from all different backgrounds. Her goal is to equip children and their parents with the tools necessary for success. She uses a wholistic approach to counseling and is under the supervision of Paul Bishop, MA, LPC, LPC/S - Director of Bridge of Hope Counseling Center (BOH) in Lexington. Her areas of focus include but are not limited to: ADD, Anger Management, Behavioral issues, Attachment & Relationship issues, Complex Post-traumatic Stress Disorder, Depression & Anxiety, Grief and Loss, Self-esteem, Trauma, and Spiritual Counseling.
